Hongzhe Sun

Hongzhe Sun has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Most recently, they served as the VP of Crypto Brokerage Business Development at Paxos since October 2020. Prior to that, they co-founded a stealth startup in November 2019, where they played a key role until October 2020.

From 2016 to 2019, Hongzhe worked as the VP of Platform Product at GroundTruth (formerly xAd), where they led platform-based services, grew revenue, and developed strategic partnerships. Before that, they co-founded Olakai, Inc., an agtech company focused on sustainable food production from the ocean.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Hongzhe also had professional swimmer experience as a member of the US National Team at TYR Sport in 2007-2008. Hongzhe also held roles at Muzik, Twitter, Cooliris, and StartX, where they contributed to strategic partnerships, product development, sales, and regional management.

Throughout their career, Hongzhe has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive growth and innovation in various industries.

Hongzhe Sun pursued their higher education at Stanford University from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they specialized in Management Science and Engineering, focusing on the fields of Engineering, Economics, and Computer Science. Furthermore, in August 2019, they obtained a certification as a Product Manager from General Assembly.
