Ryan Bentz has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ryan currently works as a Senior Application Security Engineer at Paxos since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Offensive Security Specialist at Digitalware, Inc. from May 2020 to April 2022. Ryan also worked as a Penetration Tester at Gotham Digital Science and Bank of America from August 2019 to May 2020 and from July 2016 to August 2019, respectively. Ryan Bentz earned a B.A. degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Western Washington University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended the University of Idaho from 1997 to 1998, although they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In terms of additional certifications, Ryan obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) credential from Offensive Security in November 2014, and they acquired the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in October 2013. Furthermore, they also completed the Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP) course offered by the Blockchain Training Alliance in July 2019. In terms of more recent certifications, Ryan completed the Ethereum 101 course and acquired the Ethereum Smart Contract Security certification from Moralis Academy, with completion dates in January 2021 and January 2022, respectively.
