Shawn Burt

Shawn Burt has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 at Bank of Whitman as a Software Engineer/Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for implementing new software and providing technical support. In 2012, they started their own company, Colfax Computer Services, where they served as the owner until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Impel Consulting. From 2016 to 2018, Shawn worked as a Senior Software Architect at Electronic Payments, Inc. Shawn then became the Chief Technology Officer at VelocIT Business Solutions from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Integrations at Paya. Throughout their career, Shawn has consistently met deadlines, developed application architecture, and implemented best practices.

Shawn Burt earned an AA degree in General Requirements from Community Colleges of Spokane in 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Electronics Engineering from ITT Tech in 1993. Their education journey began with a high school diploma from Clarkston High School in 1992.
