Karthik Mokashi

Karthik Mokashi has extensive work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Karthik is currently the Sr. Director of Data Science at Payactiv. Prior to this role, Karthik worked at SAP Labs LLC for over 16 years in various positions. Karthik served as a Sr. Data Scientist and played a key role in early customer engagements, building and delivering predictive models for anomaly detection and maintenance cycle extensions. Karthik also served as a Lead Multi Cloud DevOps Engineer, focusing on cost optimization and capacity optimizations for SAP LoB's across multiple cloud platforms. Before that, Karthik worked as a Data Science Fellow, engaging with IoT customers and building predictive models for manufacturing industries. Karthik also identified a solution gap and built an alpha product extension for failure mode clustering based on machine maintenance logs. Additionally, Karthik worked as a Sr. Technical Program Manager, handling technical system issues and deployments for the SAP GRC team. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer and Systems Engineer at SAP and HP, respectively.

Karthik Mokashi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Data Science and Business Analytics at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 2014 to 2017. Karthik also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to machine learning, deep learning, and data science from institutions such as Coursera and Quint Wellington Redwood.
