Vova Hotyakov

Vova Hotyakov has worked in the tech industry since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a freelance Java and C tutor. In 2012, they worked as a Java Developer in the R&D Team at Acquimetrix Ltd. and also as a freelance Android applications developer on custom programming projects. From 2016 to 2019, they were the CTO at Spiral-Soft, managing a team of 30 persons and overseeing the system design and architecture of over 20 successful projects. In 2019, they became the Head of Mobile Development at Discount Bank, fostering and creating a highly collaborative and productive cross-teams culture and managing the full app development life-cycle. Currently, they are the VP Research and Development at PayBox.

Vova Hotyakov began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Igal Alon High School and majored in Physics and Programming. Vova then went on to obtain a Foundation degree in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2011, they began studying at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Software Engineering in 2015.
