Rodrigo Alvira Álvarez is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Client Executive Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Paymentology since February 2022, focusing on client growth and revenue generation. Previously, Rodrigo held various leadership roles at Banco Santander from September 2015 to March 2021, including Cash Management Head, where key achievements included launching the Global Transactional Digital Portal in Colombia and developing the Confirming product line. At Banco de Bogotá from September 2003 to August 2015, Rodrigo managed the development of credit products and lending solutions. Early career experiences included roles as Credit Analyst Coordinator at Penguin Random House and Operations Manager at Casa Toro S.A. Rodrigo holds a postgraduate degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
