William Kiama

William Kiama has over 10 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. William is currently the Head of Fraud and Risk at Paymentology, where they oversee the management of fraud and risk in the company. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Security Manager and Security Manager at Paymentology.

Before joining Paymentology, William worked as an Information Security Manager at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya. In this role, they provided expertise on cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance requirements, conducted security testing, and provided security leadership on the bank's digital transformation projects.

William also has experience working as a Senior Security Officer at Cellulant and as a Security Analyst at Kenya Airways. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing security frameworks, conducting security awareness training, performing risk assessments, and conducting penetration tests.

Overall, William has a strong background in cybersecurity and extensive experience in managing fraud, risk, and compliance in the financial and technology sectors.

William Kiama has a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security from the University of Derby Online Learning. William also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
