Martin Wolkenstein

Martin Wolkenstein has extensive work experience in the IT and project management field. Martin is currently working at PAYONE as the Director of IT Management since August 2023. Before that, they held various roles at Paysafe Group, including VP PMO & Corporate Development for paysafecard from September 2017 to August 2023, and VP Program Management from October 2016 to September 2017. Prior to joining Paysafe Group, Martin worked as the VP of Project Management Office at paysafecard.com from January 2014 to September 2017. Martin also served as a Project Manager at Raiffeisen Bank International AG from August 2013 to December 2013, and as a Project Manager (Freelancer) at paysafecard.com from May 2013 to July 2013. Martin's career started at Accenture, where they worked as a Senior Manager from August 1999 to April 2013.

Martin Wolkenstein has a Doctorate degree (Dr.) in Chemistry from Technische Universität Wien, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Martin also holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Biochemistry from the same university, earned from 1990 to 1996. Prior to their university studies, they attended Bundesgymnasium Wien 13 Fichtnergasse from 1982 to 1990. In terms of additional certifications, Martin has obtained an International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A) certification from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) in 2018, and a SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017.
