Omar Mekky

Omar Mekky is an experienced engineering leader and entrepreneur with a robust background in technology management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Payrails since July 2023, Omar also founded CodeTime.tv in March 2015. Previous roles include Global Head of Engineering and Director of Engineering at Swvl, and mentorship at Plato from September 2021 to December 2022. Omar has significant expertise as CTO at AlMakinah and UserTalk, and as Products Manager at Raya Social Media. In addition to running Mash Ltd. as CEO and Chief Visionary Officer, Omar has held various leadership roles throughout a career that emphasizes engineering excellence and innovative product development.
