Praveen Sharma

Praveen Sharma has a strong background in the media and technology industry. Praveen currently holds the position of COO - Commerce services at Paytm, a role they began in June 2022. Prior to this, Praveen served as the MD & CEO of Paytm Payments Services Ltd from July 2020 to May 2022. Before joining Paytm, they worked at Google for almost a decade, where they held various roles including Regional Director - Performance Marketing Solutions, Asia Pacific, and Head of YouTube and Display Sales, India. Additionally, Praveen has experience working at Madison Communications as the COO of Madison Media Plus, and at GroupM and IPG in business and media director roles respectively.

Praveen Sharma obtained a B.Engg degree in Mechanical Engineering from CR State College of Engg, Murthal, Haryana, from 1990 to 1994. Following this, Praveen completed an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Communications from MICA between 1994 and 1996.
