Jacqueline Timmerhuis

Jacqueline Timmerhuis serves as the Head of Communications and Public Affairs Department at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency since June 2010, leading a team of 15 professionals in disseminating knowledge in areas such as environment, energy, climate change, and sustainable development. Prior to this, Jacqueline worked at the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis from October 1998 to June 2010 as an External communication officer and Executive secretary, focusing on making economic research accessible to policymakers and the public. Jacqueline’s earlier experience includes roles as an Advisor on Port & Economic Affairs for the Rotterdam municipal government and as a Policy advisor on economic and financial affairs at the Ministry of VROM. Jacqueline holds a degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduated with Honours in 1986, with additional studies in Law.
