Mary L. Plantamura

Mary L. Plantamura manages the day-to-day operations of the Office of Corporate Secretary; assists Board and corporate officers in the management of Board affairs; oversees the Board budget; is responsible for corporate minutes, meeting materials and Board communications; and provides legal advice on governance and compliance issues.

Plantamura joined PBS in January 2005 as Project Manager for the Editorial Standards Review Committee, joined the Office of the General Counsel in December 2005 and was appointed Assistant Corporate Secretary in October 2006.

Prior to joining PBS, she practiced broadcast regulatory law in the Washington, D.C. office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Plantamura has a B.A. in Classics from the College of the Holy Cross, attended College Year in Athens (Greece) and earned her J.D. at the George Washington University Law School.
