Kent J. has a diverse work experience. Kent is currently working at CATALYST as a Software Developer since September 2022. Before that, they owned and operated KJ Spatial Consulting as a sole proprietor since March 2021. From May 2017 to September 2022, they worked as a GIS Specialist - Research & Development at the Government of Canada. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University from September to December 2017 and as a Research Assistant from October 2014 to July 2016.

Kent J. pursued their education at Carleton University, starting in the year 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Kent went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Geography and Data Science at Carleton University from 2016 to 2018.
