Nicholas Parry MEng, AMIChemE has a diverse work experience. Nicholas started as a Research Assistant/Student at Vale INCO, where they worked on reducing nickel emissions from the effluent plant. Then, they pursued a PhD at Swansea University, focusing on artificial lungs for people with lung problems. During their time there, they conducted research and performed clinical experimentation. Nicholas also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green belt practitioner certification from Silicon Beach Training in 2012. Later, they joined HAEMAIR LIMITED as a Laboratory Assistant, involved in the development and testing of blood oxygenators. Nicholas also served as a Production Manager in the clean room facilities, optimizing production processes and implementing quality control procedures. Currently, Nicholas works as a Laboratory Analyst at PCI Pharma Services, where they conduct analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples, carries out stability studies, and is responsible for environmental monitoring activities.

Nicholas Parry MEng, AMIChemE completed their education in a chronological order. Nicholas first attended Brecon High School from 2000 to 2006, where they completed their A Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Following their secondary education, Nicholas went on to pursue further studies at Swansea University. From 2006 to 2010, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. Nicholas continued their education at Swansea University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from 2010 to 2014.
