Kathy O'Connell

Kathy O'Connell is an accomplished Safety Manager at PCX Aerostructures since May 2019, bringing extensive experience in environmental health and safety (EH&S) management. Previously, Kathy served as the EH&S Programs and Customer Services Manager at Collins Aerospace from 2012 to 2019, where leadership of a five-person operations support team focused on risk assessment and mitigation, along with development of management systems. Kathy also excelled as an EH&S Specialist at Collins Aerospace, improving metric reporting efficiency significantly. Prior experience includes managing sustainability programs at Pratt & Whitney and creating environmental compliance strategies at Progress Energy. Kathy holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lafayette College.
