Dermot Russell

Dermot Russell began their work experience in 1986 as a Manager at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Dermot then worked at Grainger PLC from 1995 to 1998 as an Assistant Group Financial Controller. From 1998 to 2000, Dermot worked at Northumbrian Water as a Group Finance Manager. In 2000, they joined PD Ports as the Group CFO and later became the Head of Corporate Finance. In 2016, Dermot also took on the role of Governor and Vice Chair at Teesside University.

Dermot Russell attended Dame Allans Boys School Newcastle from 1975 to 1982. Dermot then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a BA in Modern History.
