Carl Grunow

VP, Business Development at PD Systems

As the VP/GM for the Training and Logistics Services Division (TLSD), Carl Grunow is responsible for leading a great team to sustain a robust business development pipeline while providing effective program management and contract execution on a variety of tasks with many customers. Since joining the PD Systems team, Carl has contributed to a growing portfolio of contracts in the training and logistics services arena. These include the Army Training Support Services – Enterprise (TSS-E) contract and the U.S. Army’s Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE). TLSD has supported SCoE continuously since 2011 supporting the Army Logistics University, the Ordnance School, the Quartermaster School, and the Transportation School. In the State of Virginia, TLSD also supports the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center at Yorktown, the Soldier Support Center at Fort Lee, the U.S. Army Reserves training under the 94th Division, and the Virginia’s Department of Veteran Services (DVS) Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program. Outside Virginia, TLSD supports the U.S. Army SERE School near Fort Bragg, U.S. Coast Guard at Camp Lejeune, and Range Maintenance at Fort Benning, GA. Mr. Grunow retired from the Army after a 23-year career including various command and staff positions culminating in a 12-month tour as the senior adviser to an Iraqi Army armored brigade in June 2006. Mr. Grunow joined PD Systems in 2012. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy and a Masters in Public Administration from Cornell University. Mr. Grunow has published articles related to Operation Iraqi Freedom in Military Review (July-August 2006) and Army Magazine (April 2007). Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Grunow is married with two daughters.
