Fabien Coppens

Fabien Coppens has over 10 years of experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Fabien is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Principal Development Group Consulting (PDG), where they are responsible for designing architecture and components for client projects, leading and mentoring teams of engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise, driving innovation and tech strategy, and participating in the recruiting process. Prior to PDG, Fabien worked as the Principal Architect at DogVacay, where they successfully migrated data and customers to the Rover platform ahead of schedule. Fabien also served as the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering at Cast & Crew Entertainment Services, where they led the re-architecting and refactoring of their flagship product. Additionally, Fabien has held various leadership positions at companies such as Local ID, BCG Digital Ventures, OrangePeople at Toyota, Cognizant Technology Solutions at Warner Bros., Terracotta, ComplexIT, and Strateer. Throughout their career, Fabien has demonstrated proficiency in architecting and developing scalable solutions, leading teams, and driving innovation.

Fabien Coppens completed a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO from 1989 to 1992. From 1992 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Physics of Gases and Plasmas at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI). Fabien then attended Toulouse INP from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics.
