Max Haney

Max Haney is a seasoned professional in health and safety management, currently serving as the Director of Health and Safety for Peabody US Operations since April 2018, with prior roles including Sr. Safety Manager and Training Manager. With a strong background in injury prevention, behavior-based safety, risk assessment, incident investigation, MSHA compliance, and emergency response, Max has extensive experience in the coal industry, having worked as Safety HR Manager at Black Beauty Coal from 1997 to 2005. Max holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Mid-Continent University, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
