Stephen Bancroft

Stephen Bancroft possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering within the mining industry, currently serving as Mechanical Engineering Manager at Peabody Energy since October 2006, and previously held the role of Longwall Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes various trade and engineering positions at Anglo American from 1994 to 2006, and underground mechanical trade work, alongside an apprenticeship at Coal & Allied Industries Ltd. from 1987 to 1994. Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, a Certificate of Competence in Mine Mechanical Engineering from NSW Trade and Investment, an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Trade Certificate in Fitting and Turning from TAFE NSW.
