Dennis McMahon is an experienced professional in international development, specializing in peacebuilding and capacity development. Currently serving as Chief of Operations and Country Director for Peace Corps in Namibia, Dennis oversees approximately 130 volunteers focused on health, community economic development, and education. Previously, Dennis held the role of Country Director in Fiji, managing 60 volunteers in youth development and community health initiatives. With a strong background as a consultant and facilitator, Dennis has worked with various development agencies to enhance civil society capacity and promote constructive dialogue. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Director for CORD in South and East Asia, where responsibilities included creating strategies to strengthen civil society in conflict-affected regions. Dennis also holds a Master's degree in Soil Geomorphology and Landscape Ecology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a coaching certificate from Coaching for Transformation.
