Mark vander Vort

Mark Vander Vort has extensive experience in international operations and humanitarian aid, currently serving as Chief of Operations for the Peace Corps’ Europe, Mediterranean, and Asia Region since July 2018. Prior roles include Acting Regional Director for the same region and Country Director at the International Rescue Committee and Chemonics International, where responsibilities encompassed managing substantial budgets and overseeing large staff teams. Previous positions at Catholic Medical Mission Board, CARE, World Vision, and Africare further demonstrate Mark Vander Vort's expertise in program development, health initiatives, and crisis response across various regions. Mark Vander Vort holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Gonzaga University and continued education at Cornell University.
