Project Lead at Peace First

Leke Fafure has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Video Editor for a film by Adeleke and also held the position of Lead Graphic Designer at Pythagoras Lounge. In 2020, they became a Fellow at Millennium Campus Network (MCN). Additionally, they took on the role of Project Lead at Peace First, where they head the 'Every child deserves education initiative' project, focusing on ensuring equal and inclusive education for all. Leke also became an Ambassador for the World Literacy Foundation and a Member of JCI (Junior Chamber International). Furthermore, they co-founded the "Every child deserves education (E.C.D E) initiative," an NGO aimed at reducing illiteracy and improving access to education in Nigeria. Leke also served as the President of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences at the University of Ibadan. Lastly, they were a member of the International Global Network and the Director of Operations at Betterlife Sanitation Solutions, a social enterprise focused on improving sanitation and waste disposal.

Leke Fafure has a diverse education history. From 2016 to 2020, they attended the University of Ibadan, where they pursued a B.sc in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions. In February 2020, they obtained a Digital Video Editor (DVE) certification from Adobe. In 2020, they furthered their education at GO Trainers - Adobe Training Centre, focusing on Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Additionally, Leke has acquired advanced color grading skills in Adobe through Plural sight, although the exact time frame is unknown.
