Why we’re hiring for this role:

As a Senior Sales Associate at Peach Payments, you use inbound selling strategies to find new business and help them grow using Peach Payments’ platform. You benefit from inbound leads and also research prospects and create outreach strategies. You drive face to face, online/telephonic conversations of Peach Payments offerings and successfully sell the Peach Payments value proposition. Your target clients will largely consist of enterprise businesses. This position would be a hybrid of some office presence, though mainly based out of your home office working in an inside sales model, and it is a full closing role.

What we’d like you to have:

  • A deep understanding of Outbound Sales - specifically in the online Payments Industry

  • 5+ years of Closing Sales experience

  • Fluency in English

  • Unmatched consultative selling and closing skills

  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management

  • Track record of being a high performer (e.g. over quota)

  • A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach for achieving them

  • Strong communication, time management and adaptability in order to be set up for success remotely

  • Experience working in a high-growth, "scale up" environment

  • Passion for helping businesses grow and curiosity about the tech industry

  • Humility and enthusiasm in their work

  • A valid work authorisation to work in South Africa

Core function of the role:

  • Quickly identify challenges that our prospective customers face and discover the best online payments solutions for their business

  • Consistently close new business at or above quota level

  • Nurture relationships with highly qualified opportunities at mid-sized companies

  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business

  • Work collaboratively with Peach Payments’ marketing and technology departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced

  • Help shape the future of Peach Payments’ mission with your perspectives, ideas, and skills

Our sales team is a high energy, high performing team, and the next 3 - 6 months will spent driving sales activities specifically focused on Acquiring new enterprise merchants.
