Golbarg Zafari has over nine years of work experience. In 2012, they worked as an HR Specialist at Hamayesh Farazan. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Graduate Student-School of Education and Human Development at George Mason University, and a Lead Teacher at Yekibood Children from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they became the Head Start/VPI Inclusion Lead Teacher at The Campagna Center, and in 2017 they were the Lead Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools. In 2019, they founded and became the Program Designer at Gandomak, and in 2021 they became a UX Designer at Lurnweb. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Product Designer at Peachjar, where they design and maintains components, UI patterns, and documentation for the design system and component library, works closely with Product and Engineering teammates to rapidly iterate on designs, and continually identifies areas within the platform and apps that need improvement.
Golbarg Zafari completed a BA in French from Islamic Azad University, Science And Research Branch in 2009. Golbarg then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction / Early Childhood Education for Diverse Learners from George Mason University from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, they obtained a Making the Most of Classroom Interaction (MMCI) certification from the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) and a Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification from the Virginia Department of Social Services. In 2014, they obtained an Early Intervention Certification - Service Pathway. More recently, in 2020, they completed a UX/UI Design Career Track, Certification, UX/UI Design from Springboard and a Design 101 certification from Designlab.
