Marc Steiner is a business advisor with a focus on startups and tech ventures. Marc has a wide range of experience in the industry, having worked as a corporate counsel, portfolio manager, and extern for a judge. In their current role at Peachscore, they provide guidance and support to entrepreneurs as they navigate the early stages of launching and growing their businesses.
Steiner began their career as an analyst for the Amidi Group, a venture capital firm that invests in hi-technology startups. Marc was responsible for conducting due diligence on potential investments, and helped to create and implement improvements in the vetting process. In this role, they also researched and tracked data for the venture capital portfolio, developing exit strategies and investment guidelines.
After two years at the Amidi Group, Steiner took on the role of judicial extern for Sacramento County Superior Court Judge David De Alba. In this position, they assisted with motions for summary judgment in a multi-party asbestos litigation.
Most recently, Steiner served as corporate counsel for the Plug and Play Tech Center, a startup accelerator and incubator. In this role, they provided legal guidance to startups and advised them on various business matters. Marc also managed the organization's online marketing efforts.
