Monique Machado

Monique Machado has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Monique currently holds the position of Market Operations Manager at Peak Power Inc, where they previously served as a Senior Market Operations Analyst and Market Operations Analyst. Prior to joining Peak Power Inc, they worked as an Energy Market Analyst at Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica - CCEE (Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization) from 2017 to 2019. Monique also gained valuable experience at GE as a Project Analyst, where they managed electric power distribution systems and contributed to significant projects such as supplying electrical equipment for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and a coal-fired power plant in the Dominican Republic. During their time at GE, they received the Above & Beyond Award for their exceptional efforts in reverting delays and maintaining project costs. Monique started their career as an Intern at Microsoft, where they provided general support to project managers and assisted in resource allocation. Monique also worked at The Walt Disney Company as part of the Quick Service Food & Beverage team, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

Monique Machado completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Energy Engineering from Universidade Federal do ABC from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Science and Technology from the same university, from 2010 to 2014. In January 2019, Monique obtained the certification of Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.
