George Cigale

George founded Tutor.com and served as its CEO until it was acquired by IAC in 2013. Under George’s leadership, Tutor.com became the leading provider of on-demand instructional solutions for students and professionals. George has since served as a Board Director, investor, or advisor to dozens of early stage and growth companies in software, learning technology, and health, and to educational and cultural institutions. He currently serves as a Director or Trustee on the Boards of Columbia University Teachers College, The Wild Center, and Higher Ground Education.
