Kieren Marr

President, Founder And VP Of Clinical Development at Pearl Diagnostics, Inc.

Kieren Marr's work experience includes various roles in the healthcare and academic fields. In 1999, they started as an Associate Member at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and also served as an Associate Professor at the University of Washington. In 2008, they became a Professor of Medicine, Oncology, and Business at Johns Hopkins University, where they worked until 2021. In 2013, they founded Life Sciences Consulting, and in 2014, they became the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder of MycoMed Technologies. From 2016 to 2022, they were the Chief Executive Officer of MycoMed Technologies. In 2022, they took on the roles of Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Diagnostics, Inc. and Adjunct Professor of Medicine and Business at The Johns Hopkins University.

Kieren Marr has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 1983, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General from California State University, Chico. Kieren then attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1993, where they acquired their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following that, they pursued a Residency in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Duke University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1996.

Later on, from 1996 to 1999, Kieren engaged in a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.

Recently, from 2016 to 2018, Kieren attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In addition to their formal education, Kieren also received certification as an Integrative Life Coach from The Ford Institute.
