Dushan de Silva

Dushan De Silva is an accomplished Quality Engineering Lead with extensive experience in software quality assurance and testing. Currently positioned at Pearson Lanka since June 2024, Dushan previously served in similar roles at Declare® and IQZ Systems, leading teams and managing testing processes for high-stakes projects. Dushan's expertise encompasses the development of QA plans, recommendation of testing strategies across multiple platforms, and comprehensive defect reporting. With a background starting in 2011 at Virtusa in various roles, Dushan has consistently improved testing throughput and quality, applied advanced testing methodologies, and mentored junior engineers, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing software quality throughout a diverse range of industries. Dushan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from SLIIT, completed in 2012.
