Blue Martin, PhD

Blue Martin, PhD has worked in a variety of positions since 2009. Starting at the Swanson Center for Product Innovation, University of Pittsburgh, they worked as a Machinist and Software Technician. In 2010, they moved to the Allegheny General Hospital Biomechanics Lab as an Engineering Consultant. From 2012 to 2013, they were a PhD graduate researcher and Lab manager at Carnegie Mellon University. From 2013 to 2017, they were an Artificial Heart Engineer at UPMC. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Research Engineer at Peca Labs.

Blue Martin, PhD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2012 to 2017, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, in September 2013, Blue Martin, PhD obtained a Phlebotomist certification from The Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania.
