James Lorentzen

James Lorentzen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. James began their career in the aviation industry, working as a Regional Director for aircraft sales and acquisitions at Jet Aviation Business Jets, Inc. During this time, they successfully developed and implemented a plan to expand the company's presence in the western US market. James also played a key role in designing a customer resource manager for sales lead tracking.

After their stint at Jet Aviation, Lorentzen worked as a Regional Sales Manager at CAE SimuFlite, where they achieved significant sales growth by exceeding annual regional sales goals and increasing quarterly sales by 30%. James then transitioned to the role of President at Scorpion Management, LLC, a company they established. In this position, they secured significant funding for an aerospace company acquisition and obtained a $50M+ letter of credit for the company's start-up.

Lorentzen's expertise also extends to digital marketing and advertising. James served as an Account Director at Department of Marketing.com, specializing in leveraging social media marketing and traditional marketing solutions for lead generation and search engine optimization.

Continuing their career in sales and business development, Lorentzen joined GKN Aerospace as an Aftermarket Sales Manager. James also contributed to the production of a training video for customers and prospects.

At K-Designers, Lorentzen held the position of Marketing Director and was responsible for residential home improvement sales throughout the upper Midwest. James demonstrated exceptional sales performance by becoming a top ten producer in their third month of training.

Further expanding their skillset, Lorentzen worked as an Account Executive at Creative Arc, Inc, where they managed client accounts and ensured client satisfaction in the marketing industry.

Before that, they served as a Business Development Manager at Senior Operations, Metal Bellows, where they successfully developed new business opportunities and played a vital role in driving company growth.

Most recently, Lorentzen ventured into the world of entrepreneurship as an Independent Business Owner at Pedego Electric Bikes. As an independent business owner, they are responsible for managing all aspects of the business and ensuring its success.

James Lorentzen completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Studies and Geography from the University of North Dakota between 1979 and 1983. Prior to that, they attended EJ Cooper Sr High School from 1977 to 1979, where they pursued a General Education degree with a focus on General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, James Lorentzen obtained certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration. James became a Certified Flight Instructor with CFII qualification in December 1982 and acquired a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings in December 1980.
