Reza Seifabadi, PhD

Reza Seifabadi, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University from 2010 to 2013. Reza then served as an Entrepreneurship Fellow at Children's National Hospital from 2013 to 2014, followed by a Scientist role at The National Institutes of Health from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they co-founded PediaMetrix and served as the COO until 2021. Currently, they are a Board Member at the Institute for Pediatric Innovation.

Reza Seifabadi, PhD has an extensive education history. Reza obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2005 to 2008. Reza also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2005 to 2007. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Manufacturing and Production Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2001 to 2005. Reza also holds a DC i-Corps certification on Lean startup methodology, which they obtained in November 2013 through an intense 7 week program with the goal of interviewing 100 potential customers, stake holders, VCs, etc.
