Peter Armstrong

Peter Armstrong's work experience includes roles at various companies. Peter was the Head of Compliance & Governance at Peel Ports - Mersey, where they focused on managing the asset portfolio and implementing asset management practices. Peter also served as the Engineering Infrastructure Manager, responsible for stabilizing the engineering team and improving asset condition at Port of Liverpool.

Before that, Peter was an Operations Manager at ERASTEEL STUBS LIMITED, where they played a crucial role in changing the company culture and improving plant efficiency by implementing lean manufacturing principles and developing a reliable maintenance system.

Peter also worked as an Operations Manager at McAlpine Welsh Slate, overseeing the commissioning and management of a new manufacturing facility. At Marley Eternit Ltd, Peter held the position of Operations Manager, where they had responsibility for a significant workforce and handled production, engineering, safety, and quality issues.

Lastly, they served as the Engineering Manager at Van Leer Uk. Ltd., where they were part of the senior management team and was responsible for all engineering matters related to the site's operations and long-term growth.

Peter Armstrong attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Engineering with Management. Peter successfully completed the program and obtained a 2ii degree.
