Nathaniel Gore

Director of Communities at PeerJ

Nathaniel Gore has over 15 years of experience in the publishing industry. Nathaniel began their career in 2005 as a Senior Editor at ProQuest, where they created content manufacturing specifications and workflow processes to accurately and sympathetically digitise some of Europe’s rarest books. Nathaniel also worked with third-party scanning and indexing companies and library partners. In 2012, they joined the Public Library of Science as a Publishing Development Manager, Business Development Manager, and Editorial Project Manager. In their role as Publishing Development Manager, they were responsible for identifying and developing strategic relationships with publishers, research communities and other potential partners, helping deliver content innovations and publishing projects. In 2020, they were appointed as the Director of Communities at PeerJ.

Nathaniel Gore attended the University of Bristol from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a 2.1 degree in Sociology.
