We are looking for a software engineer to join the mobile team and become an expert in one or more business-critical technical areas for our consumer-facing marketplace. We seek people skilled in building compelling user experiences with high user engagement. You'll get to work on critical product engineering projects that ship. You'll be using modern design patterns and defined coding standards. You'll work closely with Product to continue building out a quality user experience. We maintain a supportive development environment through mentorship, team offsites, and group code reviews. We'd love to hear from you if this is a good fit. Responsibilities:
● End-to-end product development from planning to coding and into deployment every two weeks ● Creating reusable and testable code ● Interfacing with the Product team and providing insightful feedback ● Daily standups, weekly developer check-ins, and bi-weekly retrospectives ● Identify problem areas and improve them - both in process and in code ● Drive initiatives to improve the reliability and scalability of the platform. ● Participate in our culture of improvement by joining code review meetings, writing technical documentation, and reviewing PRs for your teammates. ● Champion the experience of our users Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in production mobile app development ● Experience using Fastlane, Circle CI, and build automation ● Production-level React Native experience ● Experience in functional component design ● Knowledge of Javascript ES6+ ● Experience in Redux architecture including Redux Hooks ● Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Preferred Qualifications:
● Java 11+ ● Swift 5+ ● Deployment to App Store, Google Play via automated services ● Knowledge of immutability patterns and modular coding practices ● Experience in middleware construction ● Experience with RxJS, Mobx, Redux-Saga, Redux Toolkit
The annual salary range for this role is $145,000 to $155,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. Working At Peerspace
