Scott Frindel

Scott Frindel has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Scott began their career as a Service Desk Technician at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where they provided day-to-day maintenance for computer systems. Scott then moved on to roles such as Jr. System Administrator and IT Solutions Specialist at the same company. Scott eventually became an IT Producer and later an IT Manager, where they oversaw various IT services and projects. Scott was later promoted to VP/IT Operations Manager and was responsible for all IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery in the company's Los Angeles office.

Scott then joined phenomenon as the Director of IT, where they implemented strategies for building a secure and agile IT department. Scott focused on promoting collaboration and took a DevOps approach to IT operations. Following their time at phenomenon, Scott worked as a Freelance Information Technology Consultant, assisting organizations in aligning their IT operations with business goals.

Currently, Scott is the Director of IT Operations at PeerStreet, a fintech startup. In this role, they direct IT processes and policies towards strategic development and improving business outcomes. Scott also focuses on increasing information security within the organization.

Scott Frindel attended the University of Central Florida from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Okta Certified Professional from Okta in September 2021, and certifications from Apple, Microsoft, and CompTIA.
