Marrianne Lu

Marrianne Lu has extensive work experience in finance, starting as a Vice-chair of Operations and Technology & Design Director at the Credit Union for Berkeley Students. Marrianne then worked as an Intern at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where they conducted research, compiled financial analyses reports, and ensured compliance with SEC regulations. After that, they served as a Senior Manager at Investors Bank & Trust, where they supervised a team of accountants, led annual external audits, and managed client relationships. Marrianne later held roles as a Senior Financial Analyst at The Clorox Company and Nestle Direct Store Delivery Division. Marrianne then became a Finance Manager at Nestle Dreyer's Ice Cream. Currently, they hold a Director of Finance position at Peet's Coffee, where they oversee corporate FP&A. Throughout their career, Marrianne has gained experience in financial analysis, project management, and team leadership.

Marrianne Lu attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a B.A. degree in Economics. Marrianne has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in 2021, including "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable," "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit," "How to Project Vocal Confidence," "Managing Career Burnout," and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers."
