Teresa Klugewicz

Teresa Klugewicz is a dedicated political science and American studies student at The George Washington University, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as a Legislative Intern in the Office of Senator Bob Menendez, Teresa previously held a Press Intern position in the Office of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. As President of Students for D.C. Statehood and through roles with the GW College Democrats, Teresa has demonstrated strong leadership and advocacy skills. Experience also includes roles as a Barista at Peet's Coffee and various internships such as Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project and Campaign Intern for Murphy for New Jersey Governor. Teresa's involvement in political campaigns and commitment to education policy underscores a proficient understanding of legislative processes and community engagement.
