Valeriy Mitko

Valeriy Mitko has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Valeriy is currently the CTO/Co-Founder of PEF Technologies B.V., a company focused on food preservation using nanosecond Pulsed Electric Fields. The technology aims to solve problems related to taste and flavor disturbance after food treatment and reduce energy consumption rates. The technology is currently in the process of commercialization.

Prior to their current role, Mitko worked at Steray from 2012 to 2018, initially as an Electrical Engineer and later as a Senior Electrical Engineer. During this time, they gained expertise in electrical engineering.

Before their time at Steray, Mitko worked as a Process Engineer at ASM from November 2011 to July 2012.

Additionally, Mitko has a background in academia, having worked as a PhD researcher at the University of Twente from June 2009 to November 2011.

Valeriy Mitko completed their education with a Master's degree in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Secondary School N637 from 1992 to 2002, where they specialized in the Physical & Mathematical class.
