Maintenance and Facilities Technician II

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance and Facilities Technician II will perform repairs and preventative maintenance to facility plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems to include clean rooms, RO water system, and stability chambers for lab use.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees daily monitoring and recording of BMS system “Temperature and Humidity and Differential Pressure” using an electronic measuring device for air quality through the facility.
  • Perform building maintenance and repairs on plumbing, HVAC electrical, and irrigation systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot common problems with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and irrigation systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Adjust the HVAC system to maintain desired conditions.
  • Repair building components including but not limited to doors, door locks, windows, floor tile, floor base, walls, and ceilings.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Certifications and/or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing preferred
  • 1+ years’ professional experience working in maintenance and facilities required
  • 1+ years' professional experience in working on HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing systems required
  • 1+ years’ maintenance and facilities experience in highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • Maintenance tracking software, such as E-Works, is preferred.
