Summary:

As a strategic expert of the Sales Leadership Team, this position will be directly responsible for managing assigned National Accounts. Required to develop and own strong customer relationships that enable development of strategic business plans. Execution of plans will require working with many different peers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of an annual strategic sales plan and executing the plan to achieve established targets.
  • Responsible for managing the daily and monthly milestones for each assigned Key Account that aligns with strategy and drives to achieve goals set forth.
  • Develop, implement and execute customer business plans of combined accounts as well as specific customer account plans that align with the strategy.
  • Develop and execute customer specific programs that are in support of business plan goals each year, specific to select accounts.
  • Manage all program dates, quarterly payment and back up payment information.
  • Lead and coach peers as the expert through the key account management process.
  • Introduce new products and the promotion of those products and pricing programs.
  • Provide business intelligence, which supports company growth initiatives including customer and internal product forecasting.
  • Discover new opportunities and be able to work with development and regulatory to successfully deliver upon identified opportunities that would best serve clients needs.
  • Facilitate National Account operational needs analyses and assess specific client requirements.
  • Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues, developing solutions and providing sound resolutions to management.
  • Manage OPEX and accruals within given budgets.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management or business or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required in a complex field of study.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in Key Account Management experience is required.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales roles is required.
  • Proven ability to meet sales goals and objectives with reporting capabilities.
  • Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • Motivated, self-starter with results and solution orientation and the ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Although this position is home-based, extensive travel within the territory is required (70-90%).
