Joe Filippelli

Joe Filippelli has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design. Joe is currently employed at Pegasystems as the Lead User Experience Designer since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Pegasystems from April 2021 to April 2022, where they collaborated with clients such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, JPMorgan Chase, U.S. Air Force, and others.

Before joining Pegasystems, Joe worked as a UX/UI Design Consultant at the International Fund for Agricultural Development from June 2016 to July 2018. During this time, they played a lead role in developing strategies and solutions for global rural communities in alignment with the United Nation's global online initiative.

From November 2012 to June 2016, Joe worked as a Senior UX/UI Designer at INYO Companies. Here, they were responsible for the front-end development of various e-commerce websites and their social extensions, as well as managing the production of instructional videos, promotional materials, media events, and website presence.

Prior to that, Joe worked as the Lead UX/UI Designer at Mantis Creative Group from October 2006 to November 2012.

Joe's early career involved working as an Interactive Designer at Unitech Training Systems, where they provided creative leadership and project management for interactive content and development of various military education/training projects. Joe worked collaboratively within a team of designers, developers, and instructional designers from an unspecified period in 2004 to 2006.

Joe Filippelli has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University and an Associate's degree in Business from Seminole State College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Design Sprint and Facilitation 3.0 certification from the Design Sprint Academy in February 2021. In addition, they have the Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification from Pegasystems, obtained in 2020, and the Pega Certified System Architect certification from Pegasystems, obtained in 2018.
