Roshan Bharath Das

Roshan Bharath Das has a diverse work experience. Roshan Bharath began their career as a Summer Intern at IISc Bangalore in 2008. Roshan Bharath then joined Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they worked as a Senior Developer at TwelveCubes for a brief period in 2013. Roshan then pursued a PHD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2014 to 2021, where they focused on energy-efficient stream processing for a smart device ecosystem and published multiple articles. Currently, they are working as a Principal Software Engineer at Pegasystems since September 2019.

Roshan Bharath Das completed their education at various institutions. Their educational journey began at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their 12th grade in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Later, Roshan attended Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 2005 to 2009 to pursue their B. Tech degree in Computer Engineering. After that, they joined Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they obtained a Master's Degree in Parallel Distributed Computer Systems from 2012 to 2014. Roshan then continued their studies at VU Amsterdam and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from 2014 to 2018, specializing in Sensors in Smartphones and Big Data.
