Kate Petersen

Kate Petersen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Corps Member at Teach for America. Kate then worked as a Senior Experience Coordinator at Living Social from February 2011 to July 2012. Kate joined San Francisco Ballet in January 2011 as an HR Associate before becoming a Human Resources and Benefits Coordinator from March 2013 to February 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Gymboree. Kate then transitioned to SoFi in February 2015 as a Human Resources Business Partner until July 2016. From July 2016 to January 2019, they served as a Human Resources and Training Manager at Silverado Resort and Spa. Kate was later promoted to the role of Assistant Director of Human Resources from January 2019 to September 2019. Kate then moved to Pilates Napa Valley and worked as a Pilates Instructor from 2018 to January 2020. Currently, they work at Peju Winery, initially as a Human Resources Manager from September 2019 to May 2021, and currently as the Human Resources Director.

Kate Petersen completed their undergraduate education from 2004 to 2008 at Indiana University Bloomington, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ballet and Psychology with a Business Minor. Kate later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Dominican University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
