S. Douglas Kanis

S. Douglas Kanis is an Internal Medicine Physician at Pella Regional Health Center since August 2007, where responsibilities include both ambulatory and hospitalist practice, as well as serving as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) to facilitate the implementation and integration of technology within the institution. In addition to this role, S. Douglas Kanis has served as CMIO at Des Moines University from 2008 until April 2024 and has held the position of Adjunct Professor.
