Sharon Sloat

Sharon Sloat is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in elementary education and online learning. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher for Pembina Hills School Division and Alberta Distance Learning Centre since November 2021 and September 2020 respectively, Sharon has also held various teaching positions including Substitute Teacher, Senior High Career and Life Management Teacher, and Grade 1 and High School CALM teacher. With a career spanning over three decades, Sharon has taught at several educational institutions, including Medicine Hat School District, where responsibilities included core subjects as well as music and art, and Westlock School Division as a Grade 1/2 teacher. Sharon holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Calgary, earned between 1981 and 1985.
