Jamie Chitester

Jamie Chitester joined Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems as Chief Executive Officer in October 2021. He came to Pemiscot Memorial from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center where he served as the Information Systems Department Director.

Mr. Chitester holds two Master’s Degrees in both Healthcare Administration and in Operations Management. He has 17 years of leadership experience in information services management, project management, user support, and application development, including over six years in the healthcare setting. Mr. Chitester was also a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy Reserves.

Mr. Chitester is a long-term resident of the Bootheel and currently lives in Kennett with his wife, Tara, and his two children. His hobbies include spending time with his family, running, flying his Cessna 172, and refereeing wrestling.
