Erik Alsegard

Erik Alsegard has a significant amount of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the field of intellectual property. Erik is currently serving as the Head of IP at Pen Underwriting UK since 2023. Before this role, they worked as an Intellectual Property Director at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Intellectual Property Practice Leader at CFC Underwriting, Ltd. from 2013 to 2020. Erik also held positions at Munich Re as a Senior Intellectual Property Underwriter from 2007 to 2013, and at Miller Insurance Services Limited as an Account Handler - intellectual property insurance from 2005 to 2007. Erik started their career at AssuransSelector AB as an Assistant Broker from 2003 to 2005.

Erik Alsegard pursued their education with a focus on law. Erik completed their Master's in Law at Lund University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Following this, they enrolled in The University of Edinburgh in 2002 to 2003, where they obtained an LLM degree in Innovation, Technology, and the Law.
