Phil Bruen

Phil Bruen currently serves as a Board Member for the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) and holds multiple strategic advisor roles at Penguin Benefits and Ushur, as well as a principal position at Maine Street Consulting, LLC. With extensive experience in the group insurance and employee benefits market, Phil Bruen previously held senior leadership roles at MetLife, where responsibilities included managing a diverse product mix valued at $12 billion and overseeing compliance for group life and disability products. Prior to MetLife, Phil Bruen demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing strategies for national accounts at Unum and led product marketing initiatives at Liberty Mutual. Phil Bruen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Colby College.
